slgtm 751106 Saturday Looks Good To Me detroit concerts Just when it appeared that rock and roll was dead in coffee-shop ridden Ann Arbor, Fred Thomas stormed onto the scene with his outstanding song-writing and great guitar chops. Thomas assembled the musical collective known as Saturday Looks Good To Me (SLGTM) in 1999. Over fifteen musicians are a part of the Saturday crew and the live performances cast ranges from a trio with Thomas out front to a stage-full of musicians wielding a variety of instruments. The band’s sound has a heavy Beach Boys influence with a touch of punk rock coming from Thomas’ musical past.
