Hard Lessons
A three-piece rock n’ roll outfit centered around husband and wife Augie and Korin Louise Visocchi, the Hard Lessons started as college students at Michigan State University, and the band gained notoriety for their constant live shows. They earned further support by winning a battle of the bands competition to open 89X’s Birthday Bash and from touring with Minneapolis mall-punks Motion City Soundtrack. In 2008, long time drummer The Anvil parted ways with the band and was replaced by Ryan Vee. 2009 saw the band being booked to play the SXSW and Rothbury Festivals, and releasing the darker, experimental Arms Forest.
