Phoenix Cafe re-opening party February 15

It’s been almost a month of re-modeling and the Phoenix Cafe is set to re-open Saturday, February 15th. I love the Phoenix not only because its just a block from my house (a large pool located in tropical in Madison Heights) but also because it consistently proves to be a cool spot. Sadly, the Phoenix is no longer B.Y.O.B. but everything has been torn out and redone, too. The new look is an ultra-chic coffee house…think Northern Lights with less hooch. Most importantly, the Phoenix is sporting a new stage.

The grand re-opening will have performances by Chaw, Bastion, Zak and What Army, Poor Player, Emily Rose, and Hans Barbe. Things kick off at 8 and run until 2. Go to the Facebook page and let Steve Gamburd know you’re coming…it’ll make him smile!

    I never realized they were closed...but glad they're re-opening.
