Hear First: Hayley Jane – The Dollhouse Collection
On today’s Hear First we’re pleased to present a new collection from Hayley Jane titled The Dollhouse Collection. She’s is a singer-songwriter, burlesque performer, instructor, clown, writer, actress, and sexual health advocate. As Hayley Jane describes the work:
A collection of miscellaneous tracks, audio sketches, demos, and what have you, for the sake of providing myself with some financial relief in these coming weeks. I’m hoping that sales of this chaotic time capsule will help me quit my horrible dayjob and keep food on my table and a roof over my head while I look for a new one.
Dollhouse is eclectic, gritty, and really really enjoyable. Zipping between acoustic rock, electronic, punk, and bizarre musical amalgamations.
Be sure to see Haley Jane play her 21st birthday September 19 at the Lager House. The show is titled “Pirates & Pinups” and will also feature Bride Stripped Bare and the Bawdy Boys for musical entertainment and the striptease stylings of Chloe Bowie and Lushes LaMoan (of Detroit Dizzy Dames!). Oh, and check out her re-imagining/cover of Rebecca Black’s Friday
