Hello folks! While browsing my local internet stream I saw that Mittenfest is soliciting applications and receiving help from some music blogs! Well I’ll be god damned if MCR isn’t going to pitch in, so here goes:
Mittenfest is taking applications for bands to play. For those of you who don’t know, Mittenfest is a yearly benefit concert held in Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti during Brandon Zwagerman’s Christmas vacation. It is a benefit for 826 Michigan, an organization that is essentially just like the Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can’t Read Good. It seems those mittenfolks are trying to inject some new life in terms of their lineup, so pick up your dad’s acoustic guitar, teach yourself how to play a song, and go melt some hearts.
