Desktop release new EP

Desktop is releasing their second EP, appropriately named Desktop 2. It’s going to hit itunes, amazon and every other digital retailer on August 24th, 2010.

Desktop is a collaboration between Keith Thompson from Electric Six and Zach Curd from The Pop Project. As with the first EP, Keith and Zach created the album completely over the net, never working on it in the same room.

Desktop 2 sounds as if Prince, Gary Numan, and Chromeo had an intimate jam session, Very dancy, polished, and filled with synthy hooks. You can pick up the mp3 for “The City” and join the mailing list at Desktop Jams.
