Why is it so special? Each month, Motor City Special is going to be throwing a concert to showcase the best and brightest musical talents in the Detroit area. These live acts are going to be recorded and printed to limited edition collectors vinyl and be released at the successive Motor City Special event. If you can’t make it to every event, don’t worry! You’ll be able to pre-order the concert vinyl at the show its recorded at. Each record is only $15, and with a $5 cover, you’re looking at the best spent $20 possible. All records are pressed at the historic Archer Record Pressing company in Detroit.

If you don’t collect/listen to vinyl it’s still well worth going out to see the show. The 1st set of bands to take part in the Motor City Special recording session/concerts are: The Wrong Numbers, DUENDE!, Electric Fire Babies, Canja Rave, and MR SHZ. Also, if you’ve been considering starting a record collection there’s no better first record to start with than this one, seriously. Legacy has more value than currency. We will see you there!
