ACLU Sue Detroit Over CAID Raid

Today, the ACLU of Michigan has sued the City of Detroit over the 2008 police raid at the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit (CAID) where 100+ patrons were ticketed for loitering and had their cars “illegally” impounded. [read more].

If this suit holds up, all of you who were badgered by the police can officially say with pride “I fought the law and the law…”, well you get the point.
