Best of 2009
It’s that time of year again, where we must quantify and qualify everything that happened between January 1st and December 31st.
We here at MCR want to know what YOUR favorite albums, bands, and venues of 2009 were. Consider this like the national census, we want to know which bands are important to you. Please place them in the comments section!
There’s a great list over at Deep Cutz if you need some inspiration.

Best Album: Local: “Taxis” – by Zoos of Berlin
National: “Psychic Chasms” – by Neon Indian
Favorite venue: Lager House solely because the sound guy there (who looks exactly like Vincent Gallo) is better at what he does than anyone anywhere else. This includes the bigger more costly places.
