Cinecyde opens for Jim Olenski slasher film

Jim Olenski (pictured left) has produced a a workplace comedy slasher film You Can’t Rent Here Anymore! You might know Jim as the guitar player for Cinecyde, you might also know Jim as the co-owner of Thomas Video (the absolute, hands down best place to rent movies), you also might know Jim as the co-owner of the (now extinct) Tremor Records label, or possibly as co-editor of “VideoHound’s Cult Flicks & Trash Pics“

The premier of the You Can’t Rent Here Anymore! will be at the Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak, at 7:30 p.m. December, 10th. Cinecyde (who released the first punk album in Detroit back in ’77) will be playing a short set. Cast and crew will be there for a Q&A session after the film.
