Blocktober Fest 2009 Kicks Off Today

block Blocktober Fest 2009 Kicks Off Today detroit concerts  Today from 11 A.M. until 8 P.M. is Blocktober Fest, the downtown Detroit Fall block party benefiting the United Way for Southeastern Michigan.  The festival happens on Lafayette between First and Third Streets in downtown Detroit.

There’ll be more than 40 vendors, raffle items, food, games, music and Motor City Brewing Works serving up their locally made beer.

PJ’S LAGER HOUSE LIVE STAGE

- Luther “Badman” Keith: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
- Frankie D’Angelo: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Beggars: 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- The Sights: 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Polish Muslims: 7:15 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Admission is free and food tickets can be purchased the day of the event at any of three ticket booths on Lafayette.
