So awhile back I heard a rumor that local, electronic leaning record label Ghostly International was moving to Brooklyn, NY. However, this report on Concentrate says they will not only be hiring more employes but may be expanding their operations in downtown Ann Arbor to include a retail store (I’m still waiting on those limited edition Deastro playing cards).
Even though many of the Ghostly International’s employees work remotely from big cities across the U.S., like Los Angeles and New York, the company still considers Ann Arbor its home and major influence. Sam Valenti, the firm’s founder, still maintains a home in downtown. [read more]
