Detroit Rock Couple To Marry
Grosse Pointe, Michigan native and drummer Meg White (White Stripes) is set to marry guitarist and St. Clair Shores, Michigan native Jackson Smith (Back in Spades) on May 22 in Nashville. Smith is the son of rock icons Patti Smith and Fred (Sonic) Smith (MC5.) The couple are planning a reception in Detroit soon after the wedding weekend (more info.)
Jackson Smith’s noted local Detroit band Back in Spades recently reunited this past winter in Detroit, while Meg White is currently on a hiatus from the White Stripes.

Well the fact that Back In Spades played two shows together this past winter, I would have to go with good old Webster on this one:
Reunited: to bring together again: to come together again : rejoin.
Would it be wrong to say The Police reunited????

No, it wouldn’t be wrong; the Police did in fact reunite and tour.
The Spades also played two gigs, wouldn’t advise anyone to hold their breath waiting for a third.
But that’s just me …
