Album Review: Old Patterns – Alan Scheurman

Review of Alan Scheurman’s new Warren Defever-produced album Old Patterns can be read in this week’s Metrotimes (or here). WDET’s Craig Foley says he sounds a little like Paul Simon and also a bit like Billie Holiday with a folk guitar… which is true, but also with some long apocalyptic soundscapes thrown in.
