Heh heh. Once more with feeling.
My band performed earlier this year at PJ’s Lager House, and we were very impressed. PJ was a complete pro, and the staff was very friendly. It is alot nicer in there while still retaining that intangible Detroit swagger. If you support local music, then PJ’s is a good place to start.
However, knowing me, I can’t be totally sunshine and flowers, and have to point out that Ryan Allen’s article actually appeared first in the Metro Times in October under the name Michael Hurtt:

    Keep up the great work!

you know I felt like I had heard all that about the LH before

Those are two completely different articles, and Allen and Hurt are in fact two different people. The only similarity between them is Ryder’s “Do I want to do this for another five minutes?” quote, but don’t you think it’s possible he just actually said that twice in two separate interviews?

Furthermore, MT and Model D are two totally different audiences. I’ve written for both, so hear me now and believe me later. Both pieces had their virtues for said audiences. For fuck’s sake, put the guns down, children!
