Last Minute Show Announcement: The Volebeats
One of Detroit’s best Americana style groups The Volebeats (they did that awesome cover of the song “Somewhere in My Heart” featured in the movie Shopgirl) are playing this coming Saturday night at Northern Lights Lounge with special guest Ether Aura and Molly-Jean. The word on the street is that The Volebeats are in the studio working on a new LP, to be released in early 2009 (can’t wait)
Also, Tally Hall played a great live performance at the studios 0f LiveDaily.com. Side note, Tally Hall’s “Good Day” appears in the new video game Sims 2: Apartment Life.
