Lollapalooza 2008, Local Recording News

Written by Dr. Detroit. Posted in Detroit Concerts

In summer festival news, The Raconteurs and Ann Arbor’s Tally Hall will both be at this year’s Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 1-3. This year’s lineup looks to be pretty fantastic with my personal none headlining highlights being Love and Rockets, The Gutter Twins, Broken Social Scene, Chromeo and Brazilian girls.

In local recording news, The Dial Tones have finished up their latest album with Jim Diamond over at Ghetto Recorders, while The Muggs will be releasing their long awaited new album on Friday, May 9th over at The Magic Bag in Ferndale. Also, Deep Cutz has recording updates for both Freer and SikSik Nation.
