This one’s not Detroit related, but it’s too amusing for me to care … fivethreedialtone has introduced me to quite possibly the greatest ‘my man been foolin’ around’ R&B tune ever – check out the YouTube vid for it over there – NSFW!

Jasper came through again with linkage to a video version of the White Stripes’ spanish language “Conquest” – Jack’s mariachi howls alone made it worth a look for me.

MCR’s spinning The Dirtbombs’ We Have You Surrounded today; the early returns? Sultan digs the grimy back-alley swagger of “Wreck My Flow,” while I’m partial to the balls-out “I Hear the Sirens” backed with the disjointed “They Have Us Surrounded” … More on that in a slightly more ‘official’ manner on Monday.

Damnit. Brian Muldoon was kind enough to e-mail over a set of pictures taken from Daniel Johnston’s Detroit show earlier this week and I forgot all about them. MCR will have those posted later today, as well.
