2008 Motown Winter Blast

Yesterday the Detroit News reported that February’s 2008 Motown Winter Blast is hosting a Michigan oriented film festival featuring flicks about Detroit’s music legacy. Films to be shown:

Kick Out the Jams” – Leni Sinclair’s 1999 MC5 documentary short
Twenty to Life” – documentary about MC5 manager John Sinclair
Radio Revolution” – documentary about legendary Windsor/Detroit radio station CKLW
“Encore on Woodward” Detroiter Sue Marx’s documentary on the restoration of the Fox Theatre
