Detour Lanuches

First off, sorry for the long blogging hiatus. I put all my crap in a bag and settled down over near Brandon and that’s kept me fairly busy. However, some good news from back in The D forced me to dust off my Apple II, locate my Blogger password and get on the Interweb. And that’s the launch of DETOUR Magazine. The brainchild of Tony Morrow (you may know him as Tony Blowout), DETOUR is a new online zine that’s nationally focused, but based in Detroit. Former Metrotimes music editor Johnny Loftus has signed on as senior writer and critic-at-large. They tell us that, “DETOUR will include new music and film reviews daily, as well as news, features, think pieces, interviews, columns, free MP3s, and dynamic content such as its TV show intro and film trailer reviews, which blend audio, video, and the written word for a unique user experience.” Welcome to the Interweb!
