WORK PLUG: Speaking of the non-profit world, did you know that the IRS is paying out $20 billion owed to U.S. taxpayers via a one-time refund? It’s true! Check out the Refunds for Good website to learn more about getting what’s owed to you. If you’re so inclined, you can even read up on how you can use your unexpected windfall in part or in whole to help change the planet in a positive way. If nothing else, just make sure that you get your share back from the IRS – if you don’t, the cash just rolls over into the general treasury. Bah, humbug.
