Descent of the Holy Ghost Church, who have been a recent buzz in Ann Arbor, have announced that they’re splitting up. Their last show will be this Saturday (2/18) at the Blind Pig in AA.

West Michigan Music, a site that keeps close tabs on the west Michigan music scene, has launched a new web hosting business aimed towards bands. Check it out here. WMM will also be hosting a party this Friday (2/17) at Club Soda in Kalamazoo featuring west side bands Mulligan, Autumn and the Wasp, Oceans of Regret, Posi and Horizontal Orange. Check it out at Rockwebhosting.com. WMM has also re-launched it’s internet radio station featuring over a 1000 tracks from local artists and streams 24 hours a day.

Songstress Audra Kubat will open for Aimee Mann this coming Monday (2/20) at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor.
