Weekend Lowdown – January 11, 2006

DETROIT ROCK WEEKEND
Here are a couple things you may want to check out this weekend.

The Hard Lessons and The Avatars — For you UM kids and Ann Arborites, head to the Halfass on Friday. It’s located in East Quad.

Porchsleeper – Roll over to the Elbow Room in Ypsilanti on Saturday for some drunk & roll from Porchsleeper. This will be Zac Sleeper’s last show with the band, so make sure you buy him a shot of Jim Beam.

Mason Proper — One of MCR’s newest favs, Mason Proper, will be at the Elbow Room on Friday. We highly reccomend you find out what these guys are up to. They’ll be playing with the Satin Peaches and Boston band Mittens.
