WEEKEND PREVIEW
We’ve got your Friday and Saturday in Detroit all planned. Here’s the drill:
Friday – The Metrotimes has turned 25 and they’re throwing a bash. On board are The Sights, Saturday Looks Good To Me, Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise and Team Dorkwave — at Fifth Avenue (Downtown location). We’d like to say congrats to the MT. If you’ve ever been to another city and grabbed their (almost always) lame weekly alternative newspaper, you know we’re pretty lucky here in Detroit to have the high quality we’ve come to expect from the Metrotimes. Cheers to 25 years of the best weekly in the Midwest!

Saturday – No Fun Records throws “Sounds From Thee Underground: A Night of Devilish Rock n’ Roll”. Head out to the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor and catch The Hard Lessons, The Avatars, The Cyril Lords, The Boomerangs and The Dead Bodies — all under the watchful eye of M.C. Jeremy Wheeler of the Bang.
