Today is the grand opening of the Rowland Cafe which is located in the Guardian Building and owned by the founders of Pure Detroit. Here is some info on the grand opening which includes a fashion show put on by the Pure Detroit Design Lab.
Stop by the Rowland Cafe for free coffee and espresso drinks all day. Enjoy an acoustic performance by Tropidelic Duo from 11:30 -2:30 pm along with special musical guest Brazil and Beyond from 6 – 9:30 pm. The Pure Detroit Design Lab Fashion Show in the fabulous Guardian lobby starts at 8 pm. Sign up to win free coffee for a year. Experience fine Italian coffee and pastries in a fantasitc setting. 7:30 am – 10 pm.
Stroll over to the Pure Detroit Design Lab and help us Celebrate One Year of Independent Fashion in Detroit. See the latest garments by featured designer D.S. Bullock along with the works of 25 Detroit designers and enjoy the sounds of the Navy. 11 am – 10 pm.
Slow’s is yummy, go eat there. You may even feel the need to squirt the bbq sauce directly into your mouth it’s so good.
