TONIGHT @ ALVIN’S

I know there are a zillion different things going on in Detroit tonight, so what’s a last minute plug for one more social event, right?

Tonight at Alvin’s (9:00 p.m. start time):

THE SALT MINERS – (mmmmm, bluegrass)

WHISKEY TENOR – (silky smooth, low-key americana-and-whiskey-drinkin’ music)

…along with traveling bands…

GHOST BUFFALO – (mellowness featuring members of Denver’s Planes Mistaken for Stars)

CALL SIGN COBRA – (rock-and-rollers featuring members of the Scott Baio Army)

Look for a drunken idiot wearing two Motor City Rocks pins on his preciously thrift-store, button-up, thin blue striped dress shirt – that’ll be me. Come say ‘Hi’ or ‘Fuck off’ or something to that effect …
