Rag Wrap – December 17, 2003

It’s about time to get something else on our minds so here is some news we’ve missed over the past few days.

Apparently Plymouth is now considered a “cool city”, at least the Detroit News thinks so. I’ve lived in and around Plymouth for a long time and I sure can’t seem to find anything cool about it.

The Funk Brothers will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammies this February.

The City of Detroit is offering 2 hours of free parking at meters from now through December 31st in an effort to boost shopping in Detroit. The only thing they need now is some stores.

If you are in the market for a house, Detroit’s oldest brick home is now up for sale.

Watch out, Northville and Canton cops now have stun guns.
