elec61 Concert Review: Electric Six @ MSU detroit concerts  Our dance heroes have returned from the Old World. Electric Six set up a pseudo disco in a Michigan State University lecture hall on November 8. Playing to a packed crowd of dancing MSU students, it was clear that word of Dick the Dictator and his flamboyant crew has spread across the Atlantic. Clad in homemade t-shirts reading “Fire in the Disco” and “Danger Danger,” the Spartans proved they were ready to get down with the E6′s disco-rock anthems.

The Detroit City Council warmed the crowd up to danceable Detroit rock. Next, Dick Valentine joined Junior Senior onstage as they played their last tune as opening act on the Electric Six national tour. The show was packed with all the famaliar delights of the E6 including a shoutout to WJLB, Eminem song dedication, Queen reference and of course, a romp at the Gay Bar” for a second encore.
